Peter Lim has purchased 70.4% majority stake at Valencia. Apparently €60 million will me immediately made availible for player purchases.

For the first time in many years, which seems like an eternity for me, Valencia may not need to sell players just to make ends meet. In fact, they might have some decent money to spend. So what sort of players they would/should target!!! Which areas should/would be priority!!! Any idea what the philosophy of the new owners!!! Would they attempt to copy City/Chelsea/PSG/Monaco (albeit at much moderate level) and go for over-night success (again, much moderate than those mentioned) or follow Liverpool, Roma and go for gradual rebuilding.

I think the fourth CL spot is pretty much open and that might be some temptation.

Buy:
CB-Garay would have been ideal but meh he wants to waste his career at Zenit. Maybe Vermealen hmm

two wingers, one right and one left, their current ones are poor (Feghouli was great this season but still)
a CM-Maybe Oliver Torres if he can't break in at Atleti
a CAM
An older striker who would let Paco be phased in slowly rather than having too much pressure to deliver

They had so many decent players out on loan this season that you might think they're still struggling financially, trying to bring the wage bill down.

On the other hand, if that recent takeover went through and that Lim guy is going to spend his own money on players, who knows what we'll see in the summer.

Garay doesn't play for Zenit. And I doubt he would want to leave Benfica and don't play CL next season.

the only players i would keep are alves, pereira, mathieu, bernat, parejo, fuego, keita, paco and loan out fede, everyone else can go as far as i'm concerned

as for signings... rodrigo to replace jonas, recall carles gil to replace feg, we already signed that de paul dude to probably replace piatti, and sign some competent backup defenders besides otamendi

This is kind of flying under the radar but Valencia is in the process of being bought out by a Singapore millionaire called Peter Lim.

He is negotiating how to buy out the debt of the club and how he will proceed with things.

Players like Rodrigo and Garay are already announced at Valencia next summer. He is not going to pump money into the squad PSG style, but he wants to make them more competitive over time.

Will be interesting to follow how they develop, Pizzi already turned things around on the pitch for them, they are a quality team, so they can only get better with smart signings
