Seen him play live, technically hes better than the bought youngsters imo (gnabry, toral ect). Shame it hasnt worked out, particularly as he was one of the ones thats been at the club since he was a kid

Miyaichi left off Japan's squad for 2012 London Olympics

Ryo Miyaichi was among several unexpected omissions on Monday as the Japan Football Association announced their selections for the 2012 London Olympics.

"We looked at their performances and their positions, and we discussed a lot of things in coming up with our list of 18 players," Sekizuka told reporters when asked about Miyaichi.

Well its good in a way, as he would be able to take part in pre-season. But he is still going to get a loan deal this year, so wouldn't have hurt to be in the Olympic squad for him.

Great movement up front throughout , and he demonstrated intelligence by not trying to do too much , got rid of the ball as quickly as he received it to make runs, some decent hold up play.

Missed 2 decent chances but overall great performance.

England didn't really play well though, played alot like the Senior team, not as much PTB but still got outpassed and outplayed so he lacked service.
