Fifa/Pes 12 Demo Arsenal Discussion

I'm hearing fabregas n Nasri are still at Arsenal in the Demo


And that is why we are a 5 star team. Not sure. It comes on ps3 tomorrow so i am not sure yet. Anyone played it yet ?

I'm still downloading it. 55% done, 4 hours left. Will probably get to play it right after our match. I'll tell you guys how it goes

Szceny at 78 is insulting considering his current form. Gonna have to wait till January, sadly.

Gervs an 84 and Sheva a 85! I guess Arteta is gonna be around that area so it's still a great FIFA team.

shezzny will go up when the roster updates are up. same thing happened to wilshere last year. started at like 74 and went to 80

Guys have any of you played the PES demo?

I ask because i heard good things and i havent been able to play it, played the Fifa 12 demo tho enjoyed it great might buy it after all my thoughts pretty much mirror what Jay said in the Fifa 12 thread in off topic.

Rosters haven't been updated with the August transfers, while ratings won't get changed until January... or once a month for those who pay for live season.

I'll probably just edit the players myself.

I hope szesny will get a bump coz hes a beast )))

Okay, they lowered RVP's FK Acc. to 80, while Fabregas is 83. I know RVP wasn't that great last year on FK's but come on.

Mole, Jay: once you try it out tell me how PES12 compares to FIFA12. I'm an ex PES lover until it went to shit in 07. Might just play both.

szezcny should be the one of the best goalies in the game (no nuthug) and im super critical of this team.

I haven't played FIFA since 2009, I will buy this one for sure, I missed playing FIFA.

They always change the ratings for the Actual game. I'm sure Szczesny will be 80 at least. Arshavin wont be 85 lol

I have played it, the AI is drastically improved id argue actually the AI is better than Fifa's i love it tbh apart from the outdated shooting animations ( really a pet peeve of mine)

The more i play PES the more i seem to like it and the more i play Fifa the more i seem to hate it ( huge rant in off topic section lol)

If i do buy PES though i wont be playing online as you know it will be utter trash

Do really love what they have done with the AI improvements though its a huge improvement and i do mean HUGE.

I also played PES, but didn't find it that much that better than last years game.

AI has improved offensively but not by much. Your full backs get forward... and that's all I could notice. Nobody else was moving that much around me.

Of course this year you can manually control the runs of your teammates but I've found activating that to be awkward and the influence you have over the run to be too little to make much of a difference.

Defensively I think it's worse than last year. Teams get into good defensive shapes but they've seem to have taken the FIFA route or having your two centre backs attracted to the same player, thus leaving massive amounts of space for the opposition to exploit.

I conceded a goal earlier where my whole backline pushed up to the half-way line, and both my central defenders pressured the player on the ball, who simply rolled the ball into the path of the striker. The player tracking the run of the striker was my defenisve midfielder. That's a problem.

Turning speed is still slow and awkward, and the ball feels like a baloon whenever you shoot.

I really don't like this new defensive system, i'll try to get used to it... but it really pisses me off.... right now the best way to play is to let the AI do the defending for me

I really do like the new defending system. Some peeps like the fact that you now can have more time in the final third of the pitch and in midfield, but don't like the new defending system; yet it's because of the new defending system that you're allowed more time on the ball. And now when the opp defender is running to their own goal and your striker is running to their goal and you just wanna play a pass and not a through ball, you're striker will react first to get the ball unlike in past Fifa's. Great.

Everything seems alot better, even attacking. Although currently, i played about 8 games against Barce on legendary (really wanted a challenge), scoring 1 goal and conceding atleast 13. Dunno how to attack now!

In addition, it's become easier for manual users like myself to play possession and make more accurate passes in general. Ball has got alot more weight now. And there is a big difference between using the through ball button and the pass button. Gotta get used to that.

I dunno how they do it, but every year EA seems to out-do themselves. Well done

I've had 2 ps3's before. I sold my first one as it was a bit faulty and I needed a bit of extra cash before going abroad for a couple of months.

My 2nd was shared with my sis and she has left home since and took it with her! lol

Buying my 3rd ps3 on the day fifa 12 comes out. Will be a great day. only 2 more weeks.

Szczesny is underrated in overall quality but Im sure they improved some in depth attributes.
