Mr Noodles - Angel Di Maria

We are getting some HEAVY stick in the General for Di Maria's antics, I'm staying out of there till at least next week because I can't handle how just one player can ruin our reputation so much.

Actually guys, I will be back on the weekend or whatever. Think I need the rest of the week to cool off.

Didn't see the last match but people may be a little too harsh. He is a good player though he has some faults but all players do.

I can tell your heart was in that statement lol. Problem with di Maria is that this was not a one game aberration. He's consistent with his bs diving and he's not adjusting to how he's being defended: defenders just play him on his strong side and the dribble. They are basically daring him to make a counter move or pass.

Pretty much. He's at a stage where he has to evolve as a player. If he can do it he'll be a lot better for it.

Let's see some action from Mou on the Di Maria front

I feel like Di Maria is being majorly wasted on the right wing. His best performances for club and country have come when he's played on the left, I can guarantee that Di Maria on the left wing is far more effective than on the right.

You can almost say he's a different person on each wing. On the left, he's like an anorexic Gareth Bale, consistently beats his man with speed or trickery, regardless of it being some random right back or Dani Alves, and delivers wonderful floating crosses into the box.

On the right, he tries to dribble inside at every chance he gets. 60% of the time he's dispossessed by the opposing LB before getting anywhere, 30% of the time he's tackled by the center back coming out to meet him, 10% of the time he actually manages to through, only to waste the ball with his atrocious passing skills.

Di Maria was the MotM for me. He got himself red carded... for the good of the team. Now we can play better without him hindering us with his bs! ROFL thats called sacrifice trolololol!

His dribbling has been horrible this season tho.......

Di Maria has lost already points in competition with KAKA.
The Brasilian made 3 good performances in 3 games as a starter, gave the plus when he came on in the middle of the game.
Kaka is much better in dribbling, passing and 100 times classier on the pitch !!

Di Maria has to work hard and try to get back his fitness.

Hopefully he recovers his form I still think he is a good player.

Being a neutral, I promise you that in the big games Di MAria will always start ahead of kaka (given that Ozil also plays). Unless you play a 4-3-3 ( in which case, Sahin/Pepe/Lass, Khedira, and Alonso will start against big teams)

You guys really under appreciate his work-ethic, he always puts pressure in the opposing half.

His diving and occasional decision making is horrible, but every thing else about him is just brilliant. Kaka's tracking back is a huge problem given Ozil, ronaldo, and benz arent the best in closing down. So Di maria is a must imo against good teams ( again unless you play a 4-3-3)

Di Maria is the best player in fifa 12 Madrid squad.

Maybe last year, but this year so far he has been way to selfish, predicable and Barca like (Busquets, Pedro, Alves) with his diving. He has lost his starting position to Kaka and Benz. His role now likely is sub (along with Callejon) for Ronaldo and Kaka / Benz.

Angel is looking good so far.
