Everyone on the United team today was bought by money apart from Fletcher I think.

Also if you have the money your gonna spend it. Barca are he second highest spenders in the history of football every team spends so gtfo.

Not saying that that's what you were implying, but I hear that type of logic all the time and I can't really get behind it.

I'm saying all of a sudden a team that has been crap for most if not all of it's history suddenly just becomes a top class team just because one guy feels like making some money... and i think its bs

Why is OP crying over a new competitor entering the elite?

Last time I checked competitiveness was something we stride for

As a fan city was a joy to watch today, more pleasing than united has been for a long time.

If you spend and you play champagne football I am happy.

It's always a sad day for football when a team that is the equivalent of Norwich City win the lottery and buy their way to the top.

Every achievement they will ever gain will be hollow and plastic.

They won this battle, but United will win the war and win their 20th title. Mark my words.

I can't believe how people got used to Arab money...I will never support any doings of money made clubs like City,I thought more people will take their stand and keep it there.

Get aboard that winning bandwagon I guess.

What would inter be without Moratti (Sr & Junior)?

What would Milan be without Berlu?

What would juve be without agnelli?

What would madrid be without santiago?

Everyone has to start somewhere

They do, rather stupidly if I do say so myself, but at least it is somewhat of a balance and most of them are on the bench bar Villa, though I guess that makes it even worse. Honestly, if Barca did not spend when they did not need to, I would like them more, but you cannot overlook the utilization of academy youth.

Football lost? Football won IMO, City were playing great football and were clearly the better team. Deserved their win wholeheartedly.

Barca got to the point where it could safely promote the youth team because of their previous monied all star team (Ronaldinho & Friends). Lets not forget that a big reason for the success of their youth team is because they have alot of funding for it (Look at iniesta and messi, the two most brilliant and why they went to barca) and that they could attract the former players and staff of ajax through offering monetary incentives.

They all kick started their respective clubs through pumping in their resources (Time, money and networking) while the ratios of how much went in from each resource hasnt been the same. Ill give credit to santiago or moratti for that, not to real madrid or inter of today.

All Mansour is doing is putting money in man city's pocket he doesn't really care for the club

Then you criticize the person and not the club. Every single major european club has been the benefactor of an external advantage wither it was personal (ec. santiago & madrid) or social (ex. Barca and Catalan nationalism)

What external advantage (other than good management) do you see for Bayern?
