The one at firelink can be revived. There will be a part where you can get her soul back. You can use it to reinforce estus further or revive her. I would recommend to revive her.

I am not sure what i did with the soul but i couldn't revive her at all lol

Playing Great hollow while drunk af was not a good idea Laughing

took almost 2 hours to climb down. Ash Lake though :bow:

I would have recommended to go to those places after getting the ability warp to bonfires Laughing

Great Hollow is annoying as f to traverse ffs. Ash Lake is a great place to farm Twinkling Titanite.

After Quelaag you ring the second bell which is near her. A cutscene shows a huge gate opening. That gate is near the blacksmith in Undead Burg. Going through that gate takes you to the next area in the main story.

However I would recommend returning to Undead Asylum first. The cell where the game started has an item that unlocks another secret area later in the game.

Also the blacksmith sells a key for 20000 souls which opens up the path to a mandatory boss. You can do that any time. If 20000 seems daunting don't worry, the place it opens up is one of the best farming spots of the game. You can make back the 20000 and some more in a few minutes.

If you have high enough strength, Black Knight Halberd is a cheatcode Laughing

BK Greatsword is really good too.

Quite easy when you figure out all you have to do is be under him.

I would recommend Undead Asylum. And then Sen's Fortress.
