Call Ups for Inter Game, Buffon is Back

Gigi Buffon has been named in the Juventus squad for Saturday’s Derby d’Italia against Inter.

The goalkeeper had missed the Old Lady’s last two games against Genoa and Fiorentina because of injury.

However, the Italian international has proved his fitness after a collarbone problem and is one of 23 named for the San Siro tie.

It remains to be seen whether he’ll replace Marco Storari or start on the bench.

Mirko Vucinic has also made the squad after initial concerns over his fitness for the San Siro encounter.

Squad: 1 Buffon, 3 Chiellini, 5 Pazienza, 6 Grosso, 7 Pepe, 8 Marchisio, 10 Del Piero, 11 De Ceglie, 13 Manninger, 14 Vucinic, 15 Barzagli, 17 Elia, 18 Quagliarella, 19 Bonucci, 21 Pirlo, 22 Vidal, 26 Lichtsteiner, 27 Krasic, 28 Estigarribia, 30 Storari, 32 Matri, 33 Sorensen, 34 Marrone.

This is great news. However, Vucinic is in the lineup, so that most likely means no Quags or Elia, again...

Very unrealistic to have either of them start
If they can't get minutes against Chievo, Genoa or Fiorentina then they certainly aren't getting minutes against Inter and most likely Napoli (depending on the result/health of players after Inter)

I hate the fact that he always have a squad without a huge potential; and he is a really nice guy and still get sacked because of other people mistakes

Ranieri will not allow Inter to lose by more than 2 and I think it will be even closer
I can see a 2-1 going either way, hopefully Juventus wins this
Inter is at home and this match will always bring out that next level in players

I would love to see Quags just off of Matri at some point.

I think we both know the chances are too low.

I just don't know if Pepe would allow Quagliarella to even enter the stadium let alone come on the field

I think we will see De Ceglie on for Matri that way Juventus can play with 5 defenders and then Pepe can take over Matri's position as well as the right wing, center mid, left wing and defense. That way we can at least get the best out of Pepe

please let him play 4-4-2,4-3-3 or 4-2-4

If he's not also in goal, refereeing and a section of the fans then he's being under used.

He does things that only Alex can do though (Vucinic) and he isn't even at his best which is clear.
