Suggestions Didier could be brought back to the club in some capacity. Possibly even just to train. Would be a brilliant move if so. Precisely what we've been missing and are clearly in need of right now is more calm-headed experience and know-how in and around this young side, and a veteran like Drogba would be perfect. Would certainly go over well with the fans as well.

I think he'll do it, if possible.

But even if he waits till the end of the next MLS season, the same spot will be open to him, same with Lamps and JT.

Steve Holland survived Jose's entourage, so I think the club will ensure staff they want will stay around regardless of who the manager is.

Unrelated but have you read Drogba's autobiography? If you haven't, I highly recommend it. I am halfway through it and it's fantastic.

It's been confirmed that Drogba will see out his contract with Montreal.

I imagine he'll retire at the end of the season and join our coaching staff in November.

Drogba recently said that if he wanted to be at Chelsea, he'd be at Chelsea right now.

Basically his way of saying he is committed to the Impact.
