Good young player at best.

Broke into the Everton team and had the likes of Utd and Chelsea monitoring him closely; injuries et al have played a factor in his development too. Let's not forget, if it were not for Gerard and Wilshere being injured, Rodwell would be in the U21, and none of us would be having thins debate.

Technically, he is very sound. Comfortable with both feet; he also plays the midfield roles very well. I couldn't see where he'd fit in to be honest- although I do see him as an Arteta type player.

Rodwell is average, seen to be better due to the team he is in. As one poster said he looks to be in the category of Tom Huddlestone.

If Arsenal were to sign a midfielder get Thorne. Far more quality in terms of passing, technique and vision. Would be much cheaper as well.

I'm siding along with Benry and Cartts on this one. Right now, he isn't showing as much potential as he did before his injury. I understand that it's a bit sad to judge players like that, but if we are to buy him then he needs to have quality and tbh, I just don't see it anymore.

Rodwell is just perfect 4ASN...as I remember on goal.com i've sayed he could be the best one to replace cesc..yeah i'm serious..i still think the same....imo...He is a very quality player and definitely we should buy him instead arteta or bla bla...as u see i rate him soo highly sooo..come on Rodwell

I don't think Rodwell would improve any of the current decencies if we signed him in Jan.

Other more important targets.
