I fully expect Boca to go far, perhaps even win. 28 games unbeaten is a great run. Unfortunately.

Corinthians is my favorite to win it imo. especially if they sign Welliton of Spartak. Afro

but regardless.. I still think a Brazilian team wins.

I think they might end up losing more than just Vargas.. hopefully I am wrong.

@BarrileteCosmico wrote:I fully expect Boca to go far, perhaps even win. 28 games unbeaten is a great run. Unfortunately.

I would love to see Santos beating Boca on a final to revenge 2003. Plus, think about this: We beat Peñarol this year, just like 1962, so it would be wonderful beat Boca Juniors now, just like in 1963 Very Happy!!!

A Santos x Corinthians final would be awesome too. But they never do well at the Copa lol.

I think Fluminense have a pretty decent squad. Which includes Peñarol hero Martinuccio on the bench lol.

I think if Santos can manage to keep the core of our team (Danilo is already gone, but we might be able to replace him), get some good players again, work on that defense, we'll be fine, with big chances.

Brazilian teams started well this year, and then flopped hard on the round of 16. May that not happen again!
