If memory serves, this was in the second half of the 06/07 season. Although I'm probably one of the older posters on GL, and a lifelong fan of the sport, I came to follow the Premier League with consistency only later on, and was still a relatively new Arsenal fan when this match took place. I was in a bar in New York with a friend ... it was actually known more as a Liverpool bar. But I remember watching the match with a relatively quiet crowd in the establishment. Nobody was cheering much, nobody had scarves or anything. No reason to think it was an Arsenal crowd, as opposed to a Manchester one, or simply a bunch of people who liked to drink beer early and watch games. To this day I can't tell you for sure if most of the people were Gooners in the slightest. I can only say that the silence broke and the bar crowd cheered like crazy, spontaneously, when these two late goals were scored. It was such a terrific match.

When I see these highlights I don't even feel any bitterness about the likes of RvP, Cesc, or Adebayor ... I can only remember how great it felt to felt to watch, and to remember back that here was this team across the ocean I had started to follow mainly because I enjoyed watching the way they played ... but before long it was something even more than that.

I think this season was the last time Arsenal got a league double on Man Utd, no?

Yep.

That last minute winner man. It's one of those moments you can't describe properly but only feel. A winner and that by Henry. Against united. It becomes a special moment.
