Van Der Vaart was supposed to play there, but he has ZERO tactical discipline and of course Cole was always an outlet because VDV was in the center.

When he went off, Pav came on and Modric went right. But again, he doesnt play there and came into the center leaving Walker to defend and attack the entire flank alone. Which he cant do.

Why Nico Kranjcar didnt come on I dont know.
