Puscifer is the current side-project of Tool and A Perfect Circle vocalist, Maynard James Keenan. Indie music may not be the first thing that comes to mind when you hear his name or anything else that he's associated with.. but the band, Puscifer isn't signed to a large record label and it's not even close to as well known as his other two bands, so I figured I might as well post it here Smile

I enjoyed this although I had no idea wtf anybody said. But I'm used to that after listening to Sigur Ros A LOT over the past couple months.

Haven't posted in this thread for a while, but will post a selection of what I've been listening to lately, none of which I think have featured in this thread yet, though some are older songs so the Peter, Bjorn and John may have been posted already. I suspect only Young Folks was posted though, so will go ahead with it. Razz

The Neighbourhood only have an EP out at the moment, can't wait for a full album.

Brand new single from the Strokes.

Upcoming album is called "Comedown Machine".

I like this tune on first listen, but don't love it. Like all their albums though, there's bound to be gems in there.

It's Swedish, and the title of the song means something along the lines of "Swing for the honorable guest re-union/association". Sounds pretty random Razz

It reminds me a bit of this song, by another Swedish artist.

I must admit I've been listening a bit to Keaton Henson's (limited) discography, and this guy is absolutely amazing. His songs stunningly but beautifully dark. Vocals send chills down your spine.

Absolutely fantastic stuff.

A song from Family of The Year. I thought it was pretty decent. A bit too "poppy" for me, personally, it just kinda had that feel. It's a song I could see getting some popularity in the mainstream, but I don't think it will garner too much.

Here is another more upbeat song that should be well known from Guitar Hero, which is where I first heard it...which must have been a while back. I just remembered it recently though and I love this song. Pretty eccentric but hell I like that stuff, depending on how it's pulled off.
