I don't know the worse, but the most succesful technically atrocious player in the world has to be the great Martin Palermo.

He couldn't get in the Starting XI in a Portugese Second Division side and once scored an own goal brace. He is an abomination defensively and is THE worst player to play on Italy at least.

Atleast everyone else mentioned put it performances for other top division teams to be bought by Top teams .Poulsen for example even though was atrocious for Juve and Us was atleast decent for Sevilla.You can say that for most flop mentioned here.You cant even say that for Bebe.Possibly the worst player played for a top team.
