Se7en, if you live in Lebanon then how do you plan on getting it? Just curious from a fellow struggling Lebanese gamer.

Trying to impose a media blackout on myself but I'm failing so hard, there's so many script leaks and previews and reviews.

The only thing I've seen about me3 is the Rescue earth trailer and voice actors.you should download games to your pc mj,I know it's wrong,but there really is no way for people like us to buy these games on regular prices.games here in brazil cost 3x as much as in the USA (if that's what you meant by struggling)

Yeah the games here are
a. overpriced
b. very late to arrive at legitimate outlets
c. PAL and my xbox is NTSC

so that makes it really difficult to get original games because of the cost + the shipping, each game would be around $120 if it's ordered in high quality shipping (2 weeksish) so nah that's a colossal hassle. Idk how to download an xbox game onto a computer (never tried) but they sell bootleg copies here.

Last time, Mass Effect 2 came out and the 2nd disc didn't work bootleg so i bought it legit. (had to wait a long ass time and wasn't allowed to make any big purchases after) but I got it. I'll probably do the same this time around.

I wouldn't recommend playing ME3 without the other ones,youll get lost and not really get into characters and stuff like that.its also cool to import saves from one game to the next one.

ME1 is ok,ME2 is in the top 3 games I have ever played.

PC and I live in Sweden but my origins comes from Lebanon

I missed your question before but when I was in Lebanon visiting my family I know you could get your XBOX chipped/flashed, so you can download games instead.

I'd recommend you do that and just buy 8 gig discs, it's much more convenient for you. Also don't think Lebanon has any laws against piracy becouse I saw shops selling pirated movies lol

Yeah they sell the games but after every set of new games that come out you'll need a new update/flash/chip.

Since the internet here is limited I just buy the games rather than download.

Not really, I've a flashed XBOX and been playing it for 2 years straight but only now I need to update to LT 2.0

It doesn't happen that often, and considiring your situation I think it's worth it. I chipped my dad's brother's son's PS2 in a pirate dvd shop so he could play (it's very cheap in Lebanon too), I think you can find one too.

Yeah, I know, I did. It's just kind of a hassle to constantly update it so idk how normal that is.

The most recent update/flash allowed me to play FIFA 12, Modern Warfare 3 etc. but it downgraded the graphics ever so slightly.

Wish I was in America to buy it original

I get really positive feedback for the series so I’m gonna try it definitely.
I don’t know if I’m gonna like it more than Dragon Age Origins since I’m more of a sword and sorcery guy but a great game is always a great game

@billy_gr, do you like the combat system of Dragon Age? The command and attack kind of deal like in KOtOR? Or do you prefer freer movement because that's what it is in the Mass effect series, no command attacks besides powers, it's a shooter RPG.

Well to be honest all rpgs I’ve played were either party/command rpgs a la DAO or Baldur’s Gate or single character RPGs like skyrim.
This one would be a new experience for me

Pre-ordered the special edition back in October, but the next three weeks of school are going to be so hectic that I really don't think I'll be able to play the game much for up to a month after I get it . I've worked ahead too, but god damn my profs are piling me under a mountain of shit atm.

I don't know if I should even open it once I get it until I know I have time to play. There's no way I'll be able to play it for just an hour at a time now and again. No way.
