You should be able to see which comment you got rep for

Sometimes when I get negative or positve rep, i would like to go back and see which post that was. What do others think about this?

I would like the same thing . We should get something like "notification".

I would like it if people stopped caring so much about rep.

Rep system:

Post things that people want to hear even if it isn't true or what you believe, then you will get lots of + rep

If you post what you seriously think (which is often what people don't want to hear) then you will get lots of - rep.

The green or red bars to the right of your post indicate what type of rep you've received.

If you hover your mouse over said bar, it will even indicate how many votes you received.

Is there any way to know which post received negative rep or do you have to manually check every post?

No no, he means a screen or feature to see what comment you get rep for. It's not always the last comment

Example. This comment might get buried in 10 pages of replies and this thread might get swept to the back of the section. Someone, weeks from now, might read through this thread and give me rep for this comment. There's no way of knowing it was specific comment i got rep for without going back through every comment. TBW is asking if there's a way to perhaps click your profile and see which specific comment got rep, or maybe get a notification to inform you which comment got repped

I've discovered a truly magical way to get neg reps. Even easier than cursing everyone !!!!


Just post something related to Real Madrid on the general forum

You should be able to see what you got positive and negative reps for, this way if someone is abusing the system they can be told to stop. Like redoranje has over -100 reps now, if someone went through and gave him negative rep on everything they should be warned and if they don't stop be banned.

On a side note, how does the point system work (the number below 'posts' under your avatar)?
