Back to the Sanchez situation. Well, honestly, 28 +10 is imo very risky. I believe the club should have waited for copa america to finish before making any moves. On the other hand, Man City would have probably bought him before CA finished.

Fact is, Sanchez isnt worth that money. I like him alot as a player, but he isnt worth it.

Unfortunately we have too many teams accepting buying mediocre talent for huge sums..or even good talent for incredibly huge sums...either way, the talent per million is gone down and thats just the way it will be it seems.

Nobody is on selling their star player for simply "what they are worth".

He's a player that Juve, Inter, United, and City all wanted. A player nearly everyone has praised. In this market, I don't mind paying 28 + 10 variables for him.

But I also think the money issue is completely overplayed. Money is a means to improve your squad, not the means in itself.

I've seen him play with Chile a few times, and just a few highlights of him at Udinese. Quite obviously an extraordinarily talented player.

Should the transfer go through, count me among the excited and the expectant.

And, in a market where you've got Andy Carroll selling for 40 million and Fernando Torres for 55 million, 28 (+10) is hardly a terrible deal for a top notch player as Sanchez.
