i wanted to make a team from Barca B & Barca U-19 players.. Thiago is already a first team player ( he is promoted)!
this is why i didn't include players like Thiago, Fontas or Bartra !
plus its a punshiment for Thiago for what he said "kidding"

Re: Sanchez to Barca? Done Deal?
Sure like it better than buying G.Rossi. As for whether Aguero would have been more appropriate maybe but can't say for sure. Also agree with those who say that in this market you have to pay well over the odds. Let's hope that the market will price us out of a deal for Fabregas.

I think Khaled did a calculation on page 4 and approximated this value

I just wanted to congratulate you guys on getting another excellent player and one I have had much joy watching.
How do you see Sanchez integrating into your starting 11?

Thanks man.
I think A.Sanchez will share time with both Villa and Pedro on the left and right wing. Also he may play Messi's role if the genius is ever absent. At times he could be a good impact player for us.

Pretty much this also he could relegate one of them two to the bench depending on form and injuries it give's Barca alot more option's for rotation both Pedro and Villa can be replaced by Affelay and Sanchez thus everyone is alot more fresh thus more chance for trophies.

Re: Sanchez to Barca? Done Deal?
Just read that Pozzo is saying that Sanchez is valued at 50 million euros...
Dont know if that is true though as that would be to damn much. IF its true and Barca end up paying it, I will shoot someone. Better to pay Villarreal the 30m for Rossi instead or activate Agueros buy out clause which is at 45m.

Re: Sanchez to Barca? Done Deal?
I read that too. I wander how much would Affelay cost accordnig to Pozzo? I think he is just trying to rise the price, but if we pay anything close to 35, we are officially witnessing the dumbest era in Barca transfer policy.

Well the price and the player are two different things is all I will say.
His price is what it is, the market is ruined, Sanchez to me is worth like 18-20m, but this is the way it is so we have to overpay. Its not like I can think of a better deal we can get for someone else anyway.
Well said Dani. We have enough money for the players we want, so as said... the price isn't that big of an issue. I hate overpaying for players, but tbh...its inevitable right now. Lets forget the price and think of the player. Like Dani says, no one better we are going to get.
Interesting discussion about Aguero too... I do agree with Mole to some extent. Sanchez does work harder than Aguero, and I have to disagree with you Dani... Villa has always had a fantastic work ethic in my opinion. Aguero isn't a Berbatov as you say, and I don't exactly agree with Mole that if he was at Barca he couldn't adapt, but I can't see him being as good a worker as Villa. I'm getting the impression you underrate Villa's pressing a bit... I think he's brilliant at it... Pedro's a bit better, but not loads. Messi, Pedro and Villa are 3 forwards with amazing work ethics... only Rooney, Tevez and Eto'o among the elite players can compare. This is why we're so bloody good.
Dont know how I missed this post.
I do think he Sanchez works harder then Aguero, I did say that. I just dispute the claim Aguero is lazy, I dont see that. He pressed forward, how much more can you realistically ask for a striker?
I have always said, you cant buy players and then complain when they dont do something they never did before. If they do something they never done, credit them for it, but its never an expectancy. Its part of the reason why I tried not to get on Ibra as much as others. He has never been a number 9 nor make the runs of a number 9, therefore I aint gonna complain when he doesnt do them. It fair to point out he isnt doing it and its harming us, but its not really his fault.
Anyway, im going off point. Aguero isnt the hardest worker out there, but I dont count him as lazy.
I dont think I underestimate Villa's work to be honest, he is adapt worker no question.
As for ranking, Rooney, Tevez and Eto'o and I would add Olic..they are all better then Villa and Messi for me, only Pedro is on their level.
Villa is on the probably on the next rung next down now.
Work defensively really is a tricky subject, 90% of it is mental. There has to be a reason for it, when there is nearly everyone will work hard. I seen Arshavin work hard in the right situation. The very best guys have physical attributes, speed, endurance and so on, that separates them from the pack. But many others, its simply motivation.

Thank you good sir.
I personally dont see him in the 11, he likely will be rotational forward.
He can play anywhere across our frontline, so him, Pedro and Villa will likely share minutes based on fitness, form, injuries and so on.

Gianpaolo Pozzo (owner Udinese): "Manchester City made the best bid for Alexis Sanchez but the player wants to join Barcelona."
"Alexis costs 50M but if Barça has a player that could be useful for us, that might help the deal."

Re: Sanchez to Barca? Done Deal?
Udinese's Spanish representative Quique Pina, who is also chairman of Granada, has stated that the transfer of Chile international Alexis Sanchez from Udinese to Barcelona is almost complete.
The 22-year-old attacker has long been linked with a move to the Champions League winners and, although Udinese owner Giampaolo Pozzo stated on Monday that a transfer was still some way off, Pina has confirmed that Sanchez is edging ever closer to being unveiled as a Barcelona player.
It had been suggested that Manchester City were set to make a last-ditch bid to persuade the player to move to Eastlands, but Pina was quoted as saying by Cadena Cope: "At the moment, Barcelona are on the verge of completing the final details of the move and we could say that it's basically a done deal. The deal is 80 per cent done and we're working on the remaining 20%.
"The transfer will be worth an amount in the region of €45 million, a figure close to the initial valuation of the player. This fee included some variables and one player."
Barca will reportedly pay an initial fee of €28m plus €5m in variables for Sanchez, while Spain under-21 winger Jeffren Suarez will leave Camp Nou for Udinese as part of the agreement.
Sanchez is currently preparing for the Copa America with Chile's national side, but head coach Claudio Borghi confirmed on Monday that he doesn't have any problems with Sanchez temporarily leaving the training camp to complete his move to the Catalan giants.

Re: Sanchez to Barca? Done Deal?
Jeffren for now doesn't want to be included in the deal on Udinese attacker Sanchez. He prefers to stay or join another Spanish club. [ona]
Jeffren wants to make a decision about his future after having talked personally with Guardiola when the Euro U21 is over. [com]
Totally understand him.

Re: Sanchez to Barca? Done Deal?
Barcelona's last offer for Udinese attacker Alexis Sanchez would be 28M + 5M variables + Jeffren to Udinese + Soriano to Granada [sport]
note: granada, last weekend promoted to the liga, is - like udinese - owned by the pozzo family

Re: Sanchez to Barca? Done Deal?
Sanchez will be in Barcelona Tomorrow "afternoon"?
Udinese attacker Alexis Sanchez (22) has left the Chilean national team hotel and will in a few hours take a flight to Barcelona. Sanchez will fly from Santiago de Chile to Paris, and then to Barcelona, where he should arrive on Wednesday in the afternoon. [ona-rac1]
`Note: Enrique Pina (representative Udinese in Spain): "The deal on Sanchez is 80% done, the other 20% can be dealt with in one or some days." "Soriano won't be part of the Sanchez deal. Jeffren is a player we are interested in." [rac1]
