I don't think one is better then the other just like I have never thought that EPL's defenders were better then LA Liga's when that was the popular thing to say.

The style of play is the difference. EPL teams place no value on keeping the ball so they constantly lose it all over the field and it puts pressure on there defense.

While La Liga teams want to keep the ball and it makes the game much easier to read for the LA Liga defenders plus they have to be able to play with there feet as well but are not as good in the air or as physical.

It's just different not better or worse. LA Liga style defenders are better at some aspects of the game and EPL defenders are better at other aspects. IT's just what the teams in the league value and again one isn't better then the other.

Good post... and this explains why Torres is suffering at Chelsea, they asking him to play EPL way, whereas at Liverpool, he was playing more of the Spainish way...

Actually, stats show La Liga is the toughest league to dribble in

Only 2 players are in the top 50 dribblers, unless you wanna say La Liga has bad attackers (which is wrong in so many ways)
