EPL Worst Signings...

I can remember we signed someone from Chile or Honduras who only played about 1 game under Reid. Think he was called Nunez or something like that.

Hes weird, the opposite of most players.

It normally takes players time to settle into a new league and then they start to get better. Where as Arshavin was class when he first came then gradually started getting worse.

Unfortunatly Discopants is right, our signings in the shepherd era were disgustingly awful........

No one comes close tbh, you might have stupid signings now and again but not a consistent level like we did.......

The fact we have managed to go 2 windows in a row making good signings is nothing short of miracle.

Winston Bogarde.We signed him in 2000,and even with some of the shocking signings we've made under Abramovich,he still probably tops my list.The manager never wanted him and he was given a salary of about 40,000 pounds,which at the time was massive for us.He stayed for 4 years and played about 10 games.Proper selfish c*nt too.We couldn't get rid of him because of his wages but he was more than happy about that.

I remember he said something along the lines of this when we was with us,"This world is all about money.I might be the worst buy in the history of the premiership,but I dont care".When his contract ran out,he retired with a fortune after spending most of his time with the reserves.
