It's similar to having Chelsea and Arsenal being the last two representatives of the Premier League. Just because they aren't performing well in Europe, it reflects poorly on the entire league. It's unfortunate, but it is the nature of a cup competition. The team that qualifies is not always the same team that ends up competing. Take Arsenal for example:
2010-2011 front 5
Fabregas, Wilshere, Song, Nasri, Walcott (in form), Van Persie
2011-2012 front 5
Arteta, Song, Rosicky/Ramsey, Walcott(out of form), Gervinho, Van Persie

You can argue about the quality of individual players all you want, but it's a totally different side.

Barca never shifted out of third gear. They did the same thing over and over again. Leverfailsen did the most tactically inept thing I have ever seen. Playing a highline and sitting back at the same time. They left their flanks at the back exposed. Barca constantly played balls over the top to the wid players. Thats how most of their plays came. Such a disgrace and a shame for football. Even Welbeck would have scored a hattrick under these conditions. Literally what the RB for Bayer were doing I will never do. I can't even be bothered to go into it. Worst Cl performance I have ever seen in my life. Sporting and Levante would walk the BL. Disgrace to the CL, Disgrace toi Germany and disgrace to football. I hope they don't get paid for 6 months. SCUMBAGS

This. They are not the disgrace of Bundesliga. They just did slightly worse than every other bundesliga team we have faced the last 7 years. It's just a poor league, full of equally mediocre teams.
