USA sucks on every level when it comes to football.
It should come as no surprise.
Given no one really that's American gives a f***.
Everyone is still carrying on daily lives only concerned with NBA and what's to come next NFL season.
The youth has always been a problem and klinsman has addressed this before before a match with the senior squad.
Soccer/Football on the youth development level is poor. One just pays way too much to play. He stated he admired hispanic communities that would create their own leagues at such an affordable price. Soccer in the USA has a long way to go

I have absolutely no idea what you based such baseless claims on.
Football has continued to be the fastest growing sport in this country for the last half-decade. It's no longer just a sport played by kids and women anymore.

As for the loss,
This U-23 team, despite this disappointing elimination, Is considered one of the strongest groups coming up in about 10 years. They have the potential to all be quality players from Johnson to Gatt to Diskerud to Corona all the way up to Agudelo and Boyd.
I particularly feel for Sean Johnson as though his mistake on the goal was a poor one, it happens to every keeper at one point in their careers. I still consider him to be our best young keeper coming up along with Bill Hamid.

I'm being realistic.
It's not growing in the sense of that it's actually improving.
I mean you could go ahead and say the USWNT has gone ahead and helped soccer "grow" more than the USMNT has in the past two years.
Doesn't mean that it's improved. Yeah sure maybe it's played more during recess. But that doesn't mean squat.

? In the last 3 years we beat spain one year before they became world champions, got to the final and went blow for blow with brazil, nearly winning the confed cup, topped a WC group that included England, made it past the group stages of the WC, and made it back to the gold cup final again...
When has the U.S ever had such a period of solid results before? We haven't

Brazil? 2-0 lead playing extremley well. They became complacent to give up 3 goals in 45 minutes.
Group Stages? USA didn't impress at all. Thanks to really only having England to worry about and seeing as they were a huge fiasco. They gave up crucial points. It's was a given you would advanced. Besides only top of the group due to goal differences which was only like what 2?
Gold Cup final? The competition in CONCACAF is such sh**. It's always going to be mexico or USA.

Honduras isnt even worth mentioning. Didn't win a single game in their group at WC. Costa Rica has a decent team with some promising youth players but still.

It sucks in the sense that they should've qualified, but it's ok In the sense that the U23 is a lot better that what we saw at the tournament.
Josh Gatt-RB and Alfredo Morales-CB both of whom started in the 2-0 win vs Mexico wern't release by their clubs.
Also Timmy Chandler-RB/LB Danial Williams-CDM and Jozy Altidore-STwho would've been the best 3 players in their positions in the qualifying.
The only other team the would've come close in comparison is Mexico with the Dos Santos brothers and Vela.
Even without them the US should've qualified but people who actually know all the U23 players know that we're a lot better.
Also mention Omar Gonzalez-CB and Eric Lichaj-LB who are both 23 but wern't eligible. It's not like the US is doomed and has no talent.

Also noteworthy to mention the last time both Mexico and the US qualified for the Olympics together was during the 80's yet the two have consistently dominated Concacaf at the adult levels tells you there's something *bleep* up with olympic qualifying.

Also that last stat is pretty crazy... although the US's uprising didn't begin until the 90's
