Anyways, could anyone else have seen Mr. Most Yellows in the EPL turning in 27/28 clean tackles? I'm completely bewildered.

No he was the one that didn't step in line with the rest of the defenders making Nocerino offside.
That being said he was immense that game.

I'm not that surprised to be honest.
People say Masch has improved at Barca and he has. But I think the biggest improvements have come in his passing and maybe in his overall technique.
His tackling, ball recovery and his work rate were exceptional before he moved.
