I believe there is a difference in relaxation methods. If you went a couple of decades back, you'd see athletes just talking to somebody or meditating to relax. Nowadays you can find athletes playing video games or playing with their phones to get their heads off the big game. As a person who's been in similar situations, that's what I do before a big game, play on my phone or talk to somebody.
