If ayern win the CL final and Germany win the Euro both of which i thi k will happen, how good are Schweinsteigers chances of wi ning the Ballon D'or?

Same goes for Ri ery if France/Bayern win, or Robben if Holland/Bayern win, or even someone lile Lampard of Engla d/Chelsea win?

He was injured for most of the season and even if Germany win the Euros, he'd need to be in God mode for the 1st half of 2012/13 season. Being in the Bundesliga he has 0 chance of winning it.

Robben has been meh.

Ribéry has been a total beast... he'd deserve it above anyone else in Bayern. If France do well he might slip into 3rd place due to some Platini love.

But it's still between Ronaldo and Messi.

If Xavi did not win it during his peak, what hope is there Schweini?

Let's face it if Bayern and Germany were to win the CL and Euro's respectively.

It would'nt have been possible without his goals.

25 goals in Bundesliga, 13 in CL and season is'nt over yet plus all the goals he would probably have to get if Germany were to win the Euro's.

He would deserve it more than any other German player at Bayern quite frankly.

if he has huge influence then obviously he deserves to win, even neuer or gomez but bayern being stronger is a collective performance.

besides we all know how biased FIFA is towards messi and ronaldo. nobody else doesnt even come close for them.

We are speaking in hypotheticals here though and in this hypothetical situation where Bayern win the CL and Germany win the Euros....... Messi and Ronaldo might have a tank load of goals but what does it win them? La Liga for Ronaldo and maybe Copa Del Rey for Messi....

Gomez would have probably 50 goals for club and country in the year and have the two biggest tournament medals to show off too.....

I would argue in this hypothetical situation that Gomez would probably deserve it more than Messi or Ronaldo.

Ofcourse IRL Messi and Ronaldo will be 1 and 2 even if they won no trophy's at all

Messi will win it again... (This season, he had one of the best performances ever by a single player for a Club || add to it Stats; 63 goals, 27+ assists so far)...

1- If Germany wins the Euro; Voters will be vote for Neuer/Muller/Ozil/Schwein.. Cristiano will get some votes, but Messi wins again...

2- If Spain wins the Euro; Voters will be vote for Xavi/Iniesta/Silva/Casillas..

Its an individual trophy for the best performance by a single player.. not for the player who won the most trophies.. trophies (UCL, Euro, WC, Leagues, Cups etc..) are won by TEAMS!

Small example; Robin van Persie was Named PFA Player of The Year;
His team (arsenal) didn't win the EPL, not even 2nd in the league..
Still, majority of us agree that he deserves it.. Why? because he had the best individual performance in the EPL this season!!

If 2 players had a very close performance individually, but one of them won more major trophies... in this case, trophies can make the difference.. (at least this is my opinion).

If RVP lights up the Euros he might get it...

Casillas if Spain wins the Euros IMO.
