Even if we were to enter that discussion, we wouldnt need to use their stat sheet to compare them. They are voicing their opinion on a general matter, which is a fair opinion on the past two seasons.

I don't like comparing attacking players by other stats than goals/assist but now that you ask:

Only in terms of key passes (which is because Real Madrid shoot way more than Barcelona outside the box) and crossings wins Özil.

.Ozil is better at almost everything except finishing and the fact that his stamina is shit,But I used to watch some Arsenal matches when Fabregas was there and he was certainly performing better than he does now.Still wasn't better than Ozil though.

Ozil more turnovers and dispossession per game than DiMaria despite DiMaria dribbling more and always trying the harder stuff #mythbuster

Btw DiMaria will finish with most assists come the end of the season

Anyways Ozil is a great player, donno why people compare agent Cex to him who got most of his goals and assists against Bayern Leverkusen and Le Hospitalet Rolling Eyes

I strongly disagree with you, i am confident in what i see and i sure as hell can state that, when it comes to decision making, Di Maria is a dimwit compared to Ozil.

Just to clarify Cex statpadder stats:

FC Barcelona this season - 38 starts, 46 apps, 15 goals, 9 goals in LL, 1 in UCL, 3 in CdR, 1 goal in UEFA Super Cup, 1 in FIFA CWC 20 Assists: 10 in LL, 3 in UCL, 7 in CdR. For the country in this season, 4 games 2 goals 2 assists

Those are reliable stats.

Don't understand this mentality, when 'idiots' questioned inesta/xavi stats - people are quick to defend the statistic rule doesn't matter.

Now, this season - it's clear as day ozil is better then fabegras, and now bringing stats into the equation?

Fabegras has had a very ordinary season compared to his arsenal standards don't let stats blind you!
He is just in a more open league and one hell of a team which does have messi one pass to the little guy mostly counts as an assist.
Which has boosted his stats because yes he can shoot and pass adequately.
