And I'm glad that Koscielny finally gets some recognition, he's been our best defender by far all season - really a shame that he has to deal with an Arsenal that can't defend as a team. Sad

thanks for the koscielny recognition. top 3 cb in PL. this thread is pointless because of the assumption the op made of one of them leaving.

the vertoghen deal is still up in the air, but it does seem likely. One of the big reasons he'd come to arsenal is to play with Vermaelen. Vermaelen has pledged his future with the club and has agreed to a contract extension as well. Koscielny isn't at all likely to leave either

I'm surprised how mcuh you guys are underrating Vermaelen. I will admit, this season was not his best. He didn't do s*** but he wasn't brillisnt either. But i think you guys are basing your assumptions too much on todays game. He had a bad game but it happens sometimes.....

He was getting to be. He was very good. But form dropped this season. Was still solid though....

Had an off season, Pique had one aswell what's your point? Your making it sound like he was crap all year. Being second to Koscielny isn't a shame considering how great Koscielny was this year.
