It would be the same result, unless the hotshots in the Europa League have something to say about it.

What I meant was that Schweini started of as a winger, was playing as a 10 under van Gaal and has finally found his position in center midfield. You can't get more versatile than that, and you can see that in his game. He can pass, tackle, press, shoot and orchestrate play.

I'm not saying Touré is a bad player, because he ain't, but when it comes to guys who can dominate midfields there's Schweinsteiger and few others (Xavi, Pirlo, mainly). That's it.

Touré doesn't give me the sence of calmness or have the tactical awareness a true world class midfielder should, so that's why I choose Schweinsteiger.

Dominating shitty PL midfields doesn't count.

There's a reason City went out in Europa League and Bayern are in the CL final.

I don't really have to name them all, but one of them is that Schweinsteiger plays for one team and not the other.

Funny how City should have had 2 penalties, and were dominating play until those 2 cheap goals.

After that, the team was heavily discouraged and put up no fight.

Well, obviously Bastian Schweinsteiger rallied his team to go through even in the face of adversity (e.g. 2:0 down at the Bernabéu). Where was Yaya Touré when ManCity crumbled in both CL and EL? The class of a player is always shown in the way he deals with adversity, too.
