You're right, 86 Argentina were world beaters. They win with even me as number 10.

They did have some world beaters, like valdano for ex, but I never said that they were a better team because they had better player, although they did have defenders who were miles better, my point is that they were a team. Something that this Argentina side is/was not.

If a team with the better players would always be the better team than a team with lesser players, then how come bayern munich outplayed real madrid? And I dont just say that because they defeated real madrid, but because they were faaaaar the better team in both legs(even if they only won thanks to penalty)...

And btw how many games of maradona did you actually see? I mean football in that time wasn't as televised as today. Was it just the WC or did you actually see all of his napoli games?

i saw everyone of copa america's matches and in the first couple of matches i think messi was played upfront and higuain benched.. that didnt work, he didnt score so he was deployed as the creator .. they played well in a couple of matches, but he wasnt great in the tournament or anything

Well, should have Tevez scored, and Barca won the match and the tournament, Messi most definitely would have been MoT. He was officially MoM in 2/3 group games, and MoM against Uruguay until the Tevez miss.
