Well, Jiopsi, that was not a good sending off. I have never seen anything like that sending off ever and will probably never see again. It was a biased decision, no doubt. And it may have been biased due to the issues in the first half. But, that decision was plain wrong as RVP reacted milliseconds after the whistle. Definitely not enough time between the whistle and the kick to have judged he did it on purpose.

He got booked for time wasting, the actual time he ''wasted'' was barely a second. So based on that alone it was a BS call.

I like how you mentioned him slapping Alves since Abidal grabbed him by the throat and got no card as well. So the ref was consistent.

It was a BS call, if the ref should have sent him off for fouls then he should have sent him off for fouls, not ''time wasting''. Disgraceful decision and UEFA seems to agree I haven't seen Busaca ref a big game since that game unless I'm forgetting one.

No it isn't, it's perfectly valid yellow offence, by the rules.

So we are to presume:

1. That RvP didn't hear the whistle, which everyone in the world heard from the TV (crowd was quiet atm)?
2. That RvP didn't saw the linesman lift the flag although he was lookin the direction at the time?
3. He took a shitty shot, and wasn't even dissapointed to it? That tells me that he knew it was offside already.

So we would have to presume all three things simultaneosly for it to be the most bullsit second yellow ever? Alright then. :facepalm:

Yeah, by the rules it is right. But i have seen worse actions by footballers who have not been yellow carded Jiopsi. I am just talking about precedent here.

and as I recall you are to play to the ref's whistle which I am sure he didnt hear.

Real Madrid Castilla are always targeted by refs in Segunda B, hope that doesnt happen in Segunda.

They have the third fewest(i think) fouls in the league, in a league of 120 teams, and yet have the most reds

In picture that looks way worse than it actually was but at most that should be a yellow card, at most but that doesnt change the fact that van persie should have been off in the first half...

That's only if you are using his logic, where as what ever logic you use - the sane one or the insane one - rvp should have been sent off(just that bitch slapp on alves is a straight red).

correct me if im wrong, but wasn't the "bitch slap" on Alves after the incident where Abidal grabbed his throat? either way the topic is the most bullsh1t sending offs, and RVP's that day is definitely one of them. Barca were under threat of elimination until then, so it was no surprise.
