Jiopsi, tbh your counters to my arguments weren't very valid imo.

Peripheral vision - sure, humans are capable of seeing colors from peripheral view, but while you're running and focusing on a certain object only, its very likely you will miss background details, like the linesman..

You can hear the whistle in the TV - of course, but how would you know what RVP heard at the time? He wasn't watching the game from the TV like we were.

Now that is pure bs... If he was indeed gagging to send him off, then how come he didnt even book him for this one?

Now you can make an arguement that the ref knew that van persie should have been off in the first half and for was not going to tolerate any more stupidity from him, but to say that he wanted to send him off...

I think so, but what has that got to do with anything? that incident should have been at most a yellow card...

I dont remember in what game, but I know that a game last season or the season before, someone did the samething to a barca player what abidal did to rvp without him reciving anything and there wasn't anyone crying for a red then..
