You can't state the truth if you can't bear the truth...Which is that Inter is the pride and honor of Italy who whipped arguably the best team off all time...Hence Juve and Barca fans with severe buttpain :coffee:

This year in sports has been *bleep*ing brilliant for me!

I'm a dual citizen in the UK and in the US. Originally from London but mum is from Miami and I go there A LOT. I hoped when the season began that both towns I'm connected with would win a championship. Looked like it would never happen but in the end, Chelsea finally won the CL and Miami won their second NBA championship in 6 years. I was so chuffed into pieces!Party, party, party! banana

Been a great year for me.. Real dethroning Barca, and the Miami Heat winning the NBA Championship with The King getting his first ring.. If we would of won the UCL it would have been the best sporting year ever for me

Lost to C.Ronaldo and Madrid in the "deciding" La Liga game, and got knocked out of the CL by Chelsea of all teams, but did win a couple mickey mouse cups Very Happy

But then finished fourth and was denied by CL football by Chelsea of all teams even though we had an easy chance for third. Beaten by Chelsea yet again in FA cup semifinal having been screwed by a goal scored by Martin Atkinson.

It could have been a better year, but it wasn't awful.

Boca's year was worse than Bayern's, by far. Didn't win libertadores, didn't win the league in a year when everyone was talking about the treble, and a club legend and fan-favorite has announced he's leaving. How would Robbery feel if Schweini announced he would be leaving, or whoever his idol is?

Bayern/Germany fans had it the worst, followed by Milan/Italy fans.

Bayern/Germany:
-Second place in CL after dominating the final.
-Second place in DFB Pokal.
-Second place in Bundesliga.
-Knocked out in semis of Euro 2012.

Milan/Italy:
-Second place in Serie A.
-Knocked out in Semis of Coppa Italia.
-Second place in Euro 2012 after losing to Spain in final.
-Lost Pirlo, Seedorf, Nesta, Gattuso, Inzaghi, etc in the last year.

Italy exceeded expectations, if you had asked Italians how they would feel if they reached (and lost) the final then I suspect most would have taken it. A lot of them didn't think they would make it past the group stages after the 2nd game.

I can see an argument made for Milan though: didn't believe in Pirlo, saw him win Serie A unbeated as their main player.
