Actually, this CL has the strongest teams in recent history. Madrid, Barca, Milan, Bayern are at their strongest since a long time.

I agree. Hope the theatrical academy award winners of Madrid and Barca get razed so the CL can be all about football again

Already posted something similar in another thread.
When it comes to competitiveness, level of football and strength of teams participating this competition is waaay below the WC or the Euro's. And it always has been, frankly.
It's abysmal that two teams at the this stage of the competition suffer such heavy defeats.

Meh, dont worry people, the Clasico final will be the greatest of all time, especially when we win it. Then expect the level of the CL to go up again, because we are going on another 5 CL run with the great Mou and his long term second contract

Barca, Real, Bayern and Milan are the best teams in the world. Napoli is in the second pot alongside City (even though they are in EL) and Juve(even though they aren't playing in Europe, they dominate Serie A alongside Milan). Marseille, Benfica and Apoel(very organised team) are average.

Look, I'm not talking about quality. I'm talking about competition. the teams back then weren't as terrific as current Farca , Madrid or Bayern but level of difference wasn't that high.
