Sergio Ramos vs. Vincent Kompany

Who is the better CB and why? Personally I couldnt decide.....

I was actually leaning towards Ramos but I agree....i can only imagine that amount of hate this thread will receive

Kompany is the better CB.

Only Thiago Silva is better than Kompany imho, Kompany wins my vote in this one.

The guy who was selected as twice the best RB in Euro and World cup and once the best CB in Euro gets my vote.

For the record there is no defender in world football I would choose over Ramos just due to intangibles he brings to the table, Kompany is probably less mistake prone and and all that other Centre Back stuff.

Distibution, tackling and interception wise give me Ramos but other than that Kompany has it.In the end, whether it's a discussion or not for me comes down to how important you think distribution is, though at the end of the day Kompany still probably edges it.

Kompany for me. The guy is reminds me of a more solid Vidic. Ramos is getting there though

Kompany is the better CB right now, but Ramos has a higher ceiling in my opinion.

Kompany is more solid, however I'd go with Ramos. He's technically better.

Ramos should be compared to people like Jerome Boateng, not the 2nd best CB in the world

Ramos is top3 IMO. I wouldn't take anyone for Real Madrid over Sergio, not even Silva(who's the best).

Kompany's not CL proven.

actually i can't say some CB is better than him. there is no big difference between them really. TS, Pepe, Pique, Chiellini, him and now Ramos are all great and there isn't big difference. so you can't say he is the 2nd best CB. just one of the best.
