They have Carlo as coach, players like Ibra, Silva, and Lavezzi yet somehow lack of experience will hurt them? wut lol. They will do well maybe not right away but they will be relevant just like City will and Chelsea became so.

Their owners who have an almost scary plan for them in the long term. Most of the predictions of them failing sound more like wishes to me lol

I dont think anyone is stupid enough to think QSG wont be a threat in the long term.

But this season? I dont think so.

As i already explained Ibra, Lavezzi and Silva aside it's quite frankly a EL team.

And yeah what BC said, City had a much better team and got KO'ed so i see no reason why QSG wont.

Yes they have bought 3 great players but they still have lot's of weaknesses which will be exploited in the CL.

City have Mancini though. PSG have Carlo.

experience is invaluable in the CL, it can compensate singificantly when a team is lacking in quality, chelsea this season is proof of that

on topic, in the next few seasons QSG wont be a large threat in the CL although in the not too distant future if FFP doesnt kill them off (which it wont), the maintain this level of recuritment and keep Carlo then they can go a long way in the CL and knock off some of the elite clubs

He won 1 league title in 9 years at Milan.

1 good season at Chelsea and then flopped the 2nd season.

Z just because they have 3 or 4 players who have made it far in the CL before doesn't make them CL proof. You still have to consider that it's a new tournament for the other 7 players, regardless of whether the coach has won the title before or not. Couple that with the fact that they're going to get a tough group because of the pot they will be seeded in,and thinking they'll crash out in the group stages isn't "wishing them to do badly" but a realistic possibility.

Ancelotti is not overrated. @Mole: Ancelotti has won more titles overall than Mancini.

Lampard's and Drogba's ruthless efficiency won us the League. He got exposed in the CL.

Mancini has won Coppa Italia 4 times, Serie A 3 times, FA Cup once and PL once

Ancelotti has won Serie A once, Coppa Italia once, CL twice, PL once and FA Cup once.

So no not really, even when combine all the trophys together. Mancini still wins.

Chelsea won the CL and FA Cup with a manager who got sacked from West Brom because he was taking them down so no not really.

I expect PSG to win the French league at the very least. Everything else is just addition (Champions League, French Cup etc).

But his league and cup record is poor in comparison and quite frankly considering the team Milan had at that time i would expect semi-final's in the very least.

He's definitely nowhere near as good as people say.

Plus losing to that Liverpool team

Supercups and CWC are not major trophies and Ancelotti was at Milan during Mancini's dominant spell

Both Ancelotti and Mancini are top managers imo.
