I can't really see one team in the west as the worst
There are the 6 big teams atm: Spurs, Nuggets, Lakers, Clippers, Grizzlies and OKC the rest are almost equal atm, the 2 last PO spots are open for most of the teams. Injuries could probably decide, who will get in.
Dallas is probably the closet to the top teams atm

It's in their interest to be the worst team in the West but don't start with Lin excuses already...he's not the #1 scoring option on the team Montiejunas is definitely a capable #1/2 option and so is Lamb....not to mention Martin who's a scorer.

Kemba had a great year last year despite being on the worst team in the history of the league...don't see why it would be any different for Lin.

I can actually see them being better than Portland.

That's why I think they should dump Martin and go for a full tank. Let the rookies play and see what you have. Maybe they get Nerlens Noel in the draft.

And Kemba had above average year for a rookie, not great(mostly because of his shooting %). But considering he was tossed in the worst situation possible for a rookie PG ever, he did pretty well.

Houston's going to have to adjust their offense a bit to fit Lin, I would think.

Rockets should of done this years ago, in fact in the moment Yao retired. But late than never.

We got some good young players, time to suck and build.

Martin is a good expiring contract, im sure we can cash him in for something (either a pick, young player or adding him in to a bigger deal to get something big).

Still think we should of kept Scola, just because once we actually build he will be a very useful peice but its done now.

Was looking at some old vids, it's really remarkable how some people say Kobe was just a marginal player on the 01 team, game 7 against Portland , LA was down by like 15 and the dude just took over , that alley-oop at the end still gives me chills.

Anyway, on that note, I talked about this with a friend today, Mcgrady and Kobe were just about equals at the time of the 3 peat (Mcgrady was better to watch too :bow:

) If Orlando had managed to keep Shaq (and C-Webb for that matter) they could've had a potential dynasty.

And before you say they couldn't get him....they traded a pick for him.

Orlando has to look back on that and thin WTF.

And yea, Would you rather Mcgrady prime or Kobe prime (03 and 06 respectively)

BTW I've been looking for this Vid for a while, only found it today, for my money, the best move by anyone in the playoffs this year and it's not even close.

Can't wait for some of this in LA

People who say those Laker teams were all Shaq should watch that Finals game against the Pacers where Shaq fouled out and Kobe took over in OT.

There was a season, cant remember which...the one TMac had like 35ppg, he was better than Kobe. He was bigger, longer, was just as quick while being just as good a jumpshooter and being a more willing and better passer. That season was one of the best individual seasons I ever seen from a player.

Shame Grant Hill had to be so injured, though two together would of be fantastic if injury free.

And yeah, of course Kobe was great back in those days. People like to reinvent history. He was the 2nd best player in the league back (in terms of adding up all those years) in those days, only behind Shaq.
