He's better this season compared to last season.

His finishing is crap these days though. He's missed chances, you would expect him to bury. Perhaps it's just a confidence thing.

Not a chance in hell he beats it tbh, the reason he scored so many because he had to as the support that year was dire.

With Suarez and Neymar around now he doesn’t need to so he won't, I'd be surprised if he gets within 25 goals.

Yeah I think it would be ridiculous if he were to get close too. He would need to play every minute of every game, and make the latest stages of every competition, to even have a chance at meeting it. Not to mention, he would need to keep up his ridiculous goalscoring record throughout.

not so long ago, Cr fans were discussing about how many goals Cr will score in this season and bla bla. someone even went on saying Cr can score hatrick while sleeping rofl

and suddenly he has only 4 goals in last 2 months. its possible for Messi as well...its not easy to carry on the same intensity for the whole year

So how the hell did he break the record in the first place? Was he scoring 50 goals per game? scratch

I think its now we all start to appreciate the 2012/2011 season and the 2012 calendar year tbh, when we even doubt he can do it this year at this pace which is unbelievable
