Josh McEachran (Kick's lookalike)


Josh is 178cm tall, left footed centeral midfielder who is 19 years old. He has been part of the youth system since he was 8 and is highly regarded amongst the Chelsea faithful. While he is currently on loan at Middlesbrough he is said to be the future of Chelsea's midfield and truth be told, he is not far off of it.

Josh is known for his play making skills, his exellent long passes, vision and close control. All of these atributes makes him one of the best players to come through the youth ranks at Cobham. On his Debut at the Boro many fans calmed that Josh could see passes that even the fans watching the game couldn't and that he was already head and shoulders above the rest of the Middlesbrough Midfield.

His undenying weaknesses are his strength and defencive ability however, in recent weeks playing at the boro he has shown improvements in both these areas of his game. Should he continue to improve these areas he will undoubtably be ready to replace Frank Lampard in the heart of Chelsea's midfield.

He is often compared to Jack Wilshere and many have said that these two will form Englands midfield for the next decade.

Where ever he goes Josh McEachran is an absolute talent and will be a future star of the English game.

Haha. You beat me to it. He's still a great prospect, and he is likely to get a fair number of games this season (probably in the next few weeks actually...). The lad has been a beast for Uruguay. All you have to do is watch the games from the last Copa America, where he won the award for best young footballer.

Has anyone else noticed the Liverpool dominance in this thread? I'll be fair and say that it is because we are more supportive (sometimes to the point of naïveté) of our youngsters and not that our youth system kicks the crap out of everyone else.

Chelsea have a few more prospects which I could post.

I wanted to do Josh first because he is my favourite.

Think that's more because we're giving them a run out with the first team. I guess we may be more supportive, but you really can't blame us. They're doing exceptionally well.

He was played as a striker in the U17 WC, and he's a decent finisher. At Chivas he sometimes drifts to the wings, and he's not a great dribbler, but works well in tight spaces. Can hold the ball well, and usually makes smart decisions.

Easily Mexico's biggest prospect.

His potential is obvious but while his game is packed with style he lacks substance. If he works a lot at his game maybe he can get to modric level or so because you can see he has excellent feel for the football

Clearly a bright future beckons for somebody who was handed a first-team shirt number during the 2011/12 campaign for both the Barclays Premier League and Champions League.

he was on a three-man shortlist for the Reserves' Player of the Year award in recognition for his efforts over the campaign as he contributed nine goals. A clever and assured finisher, he is capable of mixing the spectacular finish with clinical, well-placed shots, he causes problems for defenders with his direct running.

A hard worker who always tracks back for the team, it's likely he will be heading out on loan, a bit of a late bloomer but has improved and impressed rapidly

Looks to be a Oranje midfielder in the future.
