Bocchetti in Juve link – again!
Rubin Kazan stopper Salvatore Bocchetti is once again being linked with a possible move to Italian champions Juventus.
The defender’s name is a constant in the transfer rumour mill and the Old Lady are once more being paired with the centre-back.
However, Bocchetti could be closer to a transfer than he ever has been given his contractual situation with the Russians.
The former Genoa player is only tied to his present outfit until December 2013 and it is unclear whether a renewal is on the cards.
Bocchetti, who has also been linked with Napoli, is said to want a Serie A return in order to push for a place in Cesare Prandelli’s international plans.
The 25-year-old moved to Rubin from Genoa in 2010 for a fee believed to be around the €15m mark.

Conte is a legend and all of that but if he is really reluctant to improve the team in an area we've needed improvements in for a few years then he's a little bit too stubborn.

Again, you don't see how that is silly?
Marrone has barely played, Padoin has played sparingly. Pogba has had a few appearances. Giaccherini hasn't gotten much time as a midfielder (he did last season).
To the point where Conte has tried Pogba as a SS
And you're saying buy ANOTHER midfielder? Lmao
Buy a striker and let the midfielders play as midfielders...........
I'm sorry Dejan, but this is the dumbest thing I've ever heard

I agree with you Luca, and I know devi you only posted what Conte tried and you don't support it either.
Instead of playing CM's as wingers/wing backs, strikers, second/support strikers let them play in the role they know.
Buying a striker is so much easier than converting CMs into strikers then hoping they magically become better than the strikers we currently have. It all seems really stupid.

Agreed, especially when Juventus is deep at CM and CB
I mean, if Lucio were to leave and Bochetti could come for cheap I wouldn't argue because the depth might be necessary
But I can't make an argument for signing a CM

Re: Bocchetti in Juve link – again!
i really don't get it why lucio doesn't get a chance. Except friendly games, when he played he actually impressed me.
of course i want marrone to get his chance, and caceres too, but rotating almost the whole squad against the likes of chievo and pescara would give everyone playing time and our best team would be fully rested to compete with chelsea's and milan's of all competitions.
this "squad rotation" myth and "everybody feeling equally important" and "nobody is a starter" and "squad selection based on performances in training" is becoming a very big BS in my eyes.
And soon the players will get fed up and we will lose important depth players.
I would love to see this team against Torino:

Re: Bocchetti in Juve link – again!
We need a LB! And then maybe a striker if we can get a good deal on Llorente! Other than that we only need players if they are leaving...eg If lucio goes in the winter then we will need another CB to replace him but other than that we already have the best defense and attack in serie a!
