Re: January Transfer Rumours 2
Gomis is not the Lyon player Newcastle should go after.... Lisandro Lopez is. He's available, wouldn't cost much in transfer or wages and would be FANTASTIC. he would clearly be good and he plays both wing and striker.
do eet ashley!!!

I can't imagine Lisandro playing in England. He is much more suited for latin country. A Juventus or Fiorentina link is more serious.

Re: January Transfer Rumours 2
Nah Jay he doesn't give 2 shits about QPR's future prospects.....
He gets 80k a week to go in for 4 months and then leaves for next to nothing in the summer when they go down due to his get out clause.
I don't blame him tbh but i doubt gives 2 shits about their future prospects as he will be gone in the summer anyway.
And Sports Lisandro Lopez is 30+ so that puts that to bed.

He's still very good though mole and he only has 1 more year on his contract. You could pick him up very cheaply... the idea is to avoid relegation. The future... you can deal with that in the summer.
OLP... he can play wing, which is what Newcastle needs. also, his wage is medium for epl but high everywhere else. i doubt a serie a club would want to take it on.

I agree Sports but Ashley doesn't, theres not a chance in hell of him buying a 30+ player.

He can't play wing, seriously, that's why he is in poor form. He is a pure talented striker. By the way, we won't sell him cheap.
Had no idea Newcastle was that low in the table. Shocking.

the thing with qpr is that they're signing m'vila too.... they're also pushing for moussa sissoko. i don't think there's much chance they stay in relegation if they pull these 3.
qpr's owner is smart. epl clubs make an extra 20+ mil a season starting next year guaranteed with the new tv deal.

Under Redknapp I think QPR can become the next Spurs. He'll probably keep them up this season and get into Europe next season/season after.

Forren is with LFC for a trial. No official bid has been made by LFC yet. Another PL club is actually further along in negotiations with Molde for the player.
Meh. Look at the bright side, Mole: Newcastle can just sign him in the summer once QPR get relegated if he performs in the PL. If he flops horribly then you'll have dodged a metaphorical bullet.RealGunner wrote:Deal done to QPR
Remy will earn €96k a week at QPR, and will get a release clause if they get relegated.

Beckham-Anzhi:
According to Russian daily Izvestia, Beckham has received a two-year proposal from Guus Hiddink’s men.
The plan would be for the 37-year-old to play at first and then gradually take a role behind the scenes in the same way as Brazilian Roberto Carlos has done.
Beckham would be well compensated for his efforts.
Anzhi Makhachkala have offered to pay the Englishman the same salary as he took home at former club Los Angeles Galaxy.
It remains to be seen whether Beckham is tempted by the Dagestan side’s offer.
He is expected to take a decision over his future by the end of the current transfer window.
Beckham left Los Angeles Galaxy at the end of last year, citing the need to experience one final challenge in his playing career.
Anzhi Makhachkala could provide it.

Re: January Transfer Rumours 2
Reports in France this evening suggest Everton are closing in on the signing of Toulouse midfielder Etienne Capoue.
Sud Ouest have revealed in the last few minutes that Capoue will undertake a medical with Everton in the next couple of days.
The French international (4 caps) is set for the Premier League with Everton and a transfer fee has been agreed with Toulouse for between 10 and 12 million euros.
Whilst Everton fans will welcome an expensive and glamorous signing, the deal will be bitter sweet as the suggestions in France are that Capoue has been brought in to replace Marouane Fellaini.
L’Equipe said last week that Fellaini would join Chelsea during this transfer window and it appears Everton boss David Moyes has brought in Capoue to cover the loss of the afro-haird Belgian.
Capoue is rated as one of the best players to have appeared for Toulouse in the last 20 years and undoubtedly has the physical attributes to succeed in the Premeir League.

Good player but Juve should go for a player who is more mobile.

Roma close to Haidara - report
By Football Italia staff
Nancy left-back Massadio Haidara is reportedly on the verge of a move to Roma, according to reports.
French football journalist Johann Crochet has told romagiallorossa.it that the 20-year-old has entered talks with the capital club, and could move over the winter transfer window.
“Haidara has been offered to Roma, that's for sure,” he told the website. “The guy is a powerful left-back, very fast and very good in attack.
“Nancy are in need of a financial injection and so could leave for a fee of around €4-5m.”
The young defender has played 16 times for the Ligue 1 club this season and last year made two appearances for the France Under-21 national team.
