Arsenal looking at Valbuena

According to L'Equipe, Arsenal is starting to look at Valbuena in the event that nasri wouldnt sign a new deal.
Valbuena is estimated at 15M.

Yeah... Valbuena is an energy player. Does a lot of the dirty work. But he's nowhere near the same league as Nasri.
On a side note, if Arsenal buys Valbuena, i predict that Marseille splurges and buys Drogba.

This has to be a joke, we dont need him and 15 mill no way wenger would pay that kind of money. Valbuena is not a EPL typle player.

Not sure.They are buying Chamberlain for nearly 12 mil and also Gervinho.So dont think they will buy another winger even if Nasri goes.Walcott and Gervinho will occupy the wings with Arshavin and Chamberlain covering for them IMO.

Actually plays for the France NT since Blanc has taken over and has been effective. Energy player that has a non stop motor. Very short stature... Schneider look basically. But he's not as technically good or as good a goalscorer as Nasri.
I like Valbuena honestly. But you already have Walcott who is the same player imo.

Valbuena is known to fall half dead at each contact with an opponent. It would be hard for him in the english league.

Valbuena is the natural successor of Ribery and Nasri at Marseille, it's only normal they are looking at him. Not as talented as those other guys, but a good player nonetheless.
I dont often get that "he wont succeed in the epl" crap, it's overplayed. La ligue is a pretty nasty league physicaly as well, but the pace is slower. Given is technique he will do well to get away from challenges most of the time.
