What are some moves we should make in the summer?

What players should leave and go in your opinion? It may be a bit too early to say, but I think xabi is in decline. Mou must go too.

We need to rethink our whole midfield plan. I still believe in modric and I think he can come good, however we need to give him confidence.

modric proved that he cant play as an attacking midfielder in this team, he is a central midfielder. with time i think he can make the central midfielder position his.

sahin, canales, shweinsteiger. these are all possible signings. no fantasy manager.

sahin would have been the go to player to replace alonso. i wonder if he would want to come back though. he would be playing in his preferred position.

shweinsteiger has been wanted by the club for a long time, he has hinted at moving from bayern. maybe with a new coach at his club there may be some changes and he may become available outright.

canales he is talent. not a central midfielder but the game versus granada proved that we need talent in the attacking midfield postion. ozil was missed.

2- Another DM/BTB or try casmero in pre season
3- One of neymar or gotze
4- One of sarabia or canales
5- Carvajal and/or abate
6- Ter stegen or some other gk.
7- PROMOTE JESSSSSSE.

Those are as far as i know. Get rid of essian, carvalho, kaka, sell alonso to generate money, also sell casillas if these stuff were true.

personally id like to keep the player turnover as small as possible.

but if players like di maria, coentrao, arbeloa, and xabi(didnt resign contract) get offers i would hope we examine them and subsequently reinforce the areas.

sell:

KAKA how he hasnt been sold already is beyond. he really isn't contributing at ALL be it players needing rest or players out with suspensions, no point having him when all he does is train and pick uo his 10M worth wages.

Carvalho: he has been a great professional with the playing time he has gotten. true professional. Mou has already confirmed his depatrture by anniuncing he won't get a new contract after his goes out in the summer

Sahin: no point having this guy, failed both for us and liverpool he was probably made to play in BL. good luck there

Adan: we have bought lopez now, so it is guaranteed adan will leave, I hope its for first team football somewhere where he wants to play.

Morata:lets face it, this guy will hardly play for our senior team and he has been disappointing with castilla. sell him while he has a generous value. he is only 4 yrs younger than our strikers, he won't see the pitch if he stays I am afraid.

Nacho (?): depends whether he is content taking up the carvalho role which he isn't I think, if albiol asks to leave then it would make sense if Nacho stayed.

Essien: loan-return. thank you for your time.

Get:

Carvajal: do I really need to explain myself?

Somebody to fill Xabi's boots now that he is becoming a grandpa

Jese: promote this genious already. people say he is similar to ronaldo but they couldn't be more wrong. not only is he a better dribbler, assister and decision maker (just watch his goal vs almeria doubt anybody in our senior team would have thought of doing that, they probably would have blasted it in the hope of it getting in between all players congested in there) but he also defends and his fk are well place and not hit with power like ronaldos. ohh yh forgot he is also more generous. not long ago he had a chance to score a hat trick when put through on goal but instead he pased sideways to juanfran. if it took benching dimaria for this guy to play then so be it. he is THAT good

Pepe mel would be great. not only is he a madridista but he makes his tteam play attractive football. the guy knows how to use talent and make them play for eachother.

juan carlos is a starter there atm and our board couldn't wait to offload him when the chance arrived.

for me its either: pepe mel, pochettino or karanka with toril as assistant coach

I say if a coach is changed i really hope we get Wenger. He is someone who can utilize Jese, Nacho, Morata and JR and will give chances to many of our players. And if he works with J. A. Sanchez then it will be excellent for us. I feel he could develop a David Dein relationship with him

if he could spend millions without nseeding to worry abt the consequences you really think he will hesitate? he would become pardew and redknapp into one. raiding the french league for all their players. heck the vuy wanted goucruff for his team when there is at least one midfielder in every top flight team in laliga better than him.

dont let his recent situwation with arsenal fool you. he is looking at youth because he is generous enough to worry abt the recession Rolling Eyes

On serious note, as it seems Adan, Carvalho, Essien and Kaka will leave this summer.
1. So far a good buy seems Carvajal and fixing our RB problem(hopefully).
2. A Essien-ish player, powerful, fast, doesn't mind sitting in the bench, a good DM, or we could just buy Essien.
3. Promote 1-2 players such as Jese and Alex. Jese could be given a bit of Callejon's playing time, Alex should try to fit in Alonso's boots for the future.
4. If Alex isn't suitable we should look into the market and find a Xabi Alonso kind of player.

GK:Casillas, Lopez, Meijas(Castilla's first choice, our third)
DF:Ramos, Pepe, Varane, Albiol, Carvajal, Marcelo, Arbeloa, Coentrao
MF:Alonso, Khedira, Modric, Ozil, Alex, Essien? Di Maria, Jese, Callejon
FW: Ronaldo, Higuain, Benzema, Morata

That's 23/24 players.

As for the manager, if Mourinho leaves I'd like to see Laudrup.

I think albiol will be looking to leave if he cant get more mins. he has already been dropped now meaning vdb is indirectly telling him to play regularly to be included. however even if he left it would mean nacho would get more playing time, he is in limbo now not playing for either the first team or second team.

As for keeping morata, it will only hinder his future if we held on to him. he is quite hot with the scouts on these occasion you really need to pounce while you still have the chance.the only reason he was promoted was because he was playing as a winger for castilla and mou thought he could be a player who could fill in when ronaldo needed a rest. as we all know now morata is being played as a striker for castilla completely eliminating the chance of him making any sort of contributing to our senior team

Thinking about players is premature with out knowing the Coach. Assuming Mou leaves, whoever is the next coach - will pick players based on his choice of playing style & formation.

If I were the manager. I would stick to 4-2-3-1

Striker: Cavani or Falcao will be in and one striker(Hig/Benz) will be sold in summer. If Cavani clicks, I would sell the other striker in Jan and use a Castilla player as a sub.

RB - carvajal/Ramos will compete

CD - Pepe & Varane

LB - I will keep both Coentrao/Marcelo.

MF: Will not change much, apart from KaKa leaving. Modric needs to be given a role or should be sold to buy a long passing combative MF player. I would play DiMaria on left and CR7 on right.

Keepers: No Change

The priority is a right back.

I'd also spend the 30 million on Isco if we're going to let him play his position on the left. Maybe get a real defensive midfielder.

We can buy Falcao not Cavani. We didn't go through 3 years of this idiotic rotation to end up with a player less talented than both of our forwards. We can sell both if we're keeping the general shape of the team - because Benz don't fit and Higuain ain't proven himself , but come better than that.
