Reports claim he has just recently signed a 2 year extension to his WWE contract, with perhaps a better pattern of appearances compared to his current run. It's definitely been disappointing how little he has featured, but the next 2 months we'll see where he goes. Maybe he will not face HHH at Mania after all?

Speaking of contracts, I just read that Chris Jericho looks to have signed on until WM29. A new WWE shirt and this clip suggests this also.

As noted earlier, WWE has signed Chris Jericho to a short-term deal. The Wrestling Observer reports that according to multiple sources, Jericho will be working full-time through WrestleMania 29.

Following a feud with Dolph Ziggler, Jericho is scheduled to turn heel. Backstage talk at the Royal Rumble was that Jericho will face Ryback at WrestleMania 29 but that's not confirmed.

The planned main event for WrestleMania 29 is John Cena vs. The Rock for the WWE Title, made clear at last night's Royal Rumble pay-per-view after Cena won the Rumble and Rock won the WWE Title from CM Punk.

This has been the planned direction for a few months and has been listed as the main event in documents given to WWE's licensing partners.

F4Wonline.com reports that word at Sunday's Royal Rumble pay-per-view was that officials were considering a CM Punk vs. The Rock rematch for Elimination Chamber. The original plan was for The Rock to compete in the Chamber match but they may end up changing that.

I admit I wanted The Rock to come back after he took a break but he's crap now.Way too not serious since he came back with stupid jokes and shit.Rock concerts with him as a face dont work at all too.

He was sweating like crazy out there and he cant do a kip up when he's 40 when HBK did it when he was 45.AE face Rock wasnt Great but he was better than this.

Shame they cant turn him heel because Hollywood Rock is the best heel character in the history of the business Imo.

Also,forgot to add that its going to be great seeing a Champion representing a company while he misses shows(He's missing one in february)And doesnt wrestle on Raw for the whole time in his title reign.

Rock has put on so much mass since his AE days so of course he isn't as agile as he once was. Having said that, he is a master of selling so even though he may look fatigued, part of it could always be his own doing.

As much as I would love to see the classic $500 shirts, suit pants and a 5 star promo, it just wouldn't work with today's product. I agree about the Rock concerts though..
