now conceding three goals has become the norm! ! now the question is how many we will score! ! also this would be against the most competitive team! ! hoping for a good game!

"Dalglish Under Pressure After Poor Liverpool Start"

After a dreadful start to the season the press vultures have already started circling around Kenny Dalglish, with some even making him favourite to be the first manager to be fired.

After winning the first two games of the season, and a terrific come back against Valerenga, Liverpool have lost every single game they have played in.

With guaranteed first team starters like Poulsen, Ngog and Degan all failing to make the impact that their price tags demand, there is no excuse for Dalglish.

Signs of the pressure Kenny is under were confirmed before the game in Oslo when he made an unprecedented 10 changes to the team that lost in to Galatasaray. And with only the likes of Steven Gerrard, Luis Suarez and Lucas Leiva, who are at best fringe players, to return it is hard to see where Liverpool’s season will turn around.

It will be a true test of Kenny’s skills to try and gel the players together with only seventeen out of the first team squad born in Britain the language barrier will be a massive problem to overcome.

Dalglish’s signings have also been called into question. Was selling “The World’s Greatest Striker” for £50 million really good business? The contrast between what Fernando Torres has done at Chelsea with what little impact Luis Suarez has had at Anfield must go against the manager. Stewart Downing, who has only played for England 27 times and does not really fit into a formation that is crying out for someone who can deliver a decent cross, was surely a mistake.

After failing to pick up any points so far this campaign and languishing in 8th place, this weekend’s game against Valencia is now looking like a must win.

Good luck Kenny, you’re going to need it.

I actually think friendlies during the season is helpful for the managers. They can give some players a chance to prove themselves.

I never heard of club friendlies inside a season. Yeah, can be helpful to test squad/youth players.

Really wierd. Rangers are in a bad state financially, but this is 3 days after the Manc game and 4 days before the Carling Cup.

And the reserves play one day before. O.o

It will probably be a game for players like Maxi, Wilson, and Robinson (the ones who generally don't make matchday squads but also are above the reserves) to get a run out. Adam might also feature though, considering he spent some time there.

The friendly could be part of the Wilson deal, perhaps.
