Digimon vs Pokemon

Pokemon obviously. But I think anyone would be biased towards things they experienced as a child. Some of my much younger cousins really like Digimon because they watched it as kids.

Pokemon are still better though.

I watched more Digimon growing up than pokemon lol.

I prefer watching Digimon over pokemon but i prefer playing pokemon over any digimon games

Preferred Pokemon for the creature designs, but Digimon for the plot and storylines.

I favor plots and story over visuals so Digimon for me.

I watched both as a kid, but I somehow remember absolutely nothing about Digimon, while I still remember so much about Pokemon. The bigger impact suggests to me that Pokemon is superior.

Digimon's plot (first season anyway) was way more intricate, had real life problems/taught life lessons, had the bad guys try take over the world, and overall just so much more compelling. The only disappointment was the bad fight scenes and the very short Dark Masters saga.

Pokemon was better in a sense that everyone loved it (even the girls) and it just monopolized not only the tv show, but had the card game - although I dont think anyone knew how to play it, gameboy games, toys and just better marketing.

If you were to go back and watch both series, you would get bored of Pokemon within 10 episodes. 90% of the episodes are fillers. The only good episodes are the gym battles. And Team Rocket got real old real quick. I would say that though Pokemon did have good emotional scenes - i.e all the ones when Ash gives up his pokemon especially the one where he almost gave up Pikachu

that being said the digimon thingies that you connected and battled eachother were fun and quite unique too

Pokemon movies are so full of feel.

I watched them all in a row last summer actually. I mean I'm 16 and I was still getting feels all over when Ash turned to stone in the first one.

For the record, I consider "pokemon" to be the original 151(and possibly the second generation after that) not the 10000 or whatever number they have now

I sincerely hope that is how everyone considers "pokemon" after the second generation, it was beyond laughable
