It has more to do with Tello's entrance than the formation change i feel

In any case, good win today. Look at the Camp Nou roar as Villa scores and the applause as he's taken off. Roura you better be taking notes.

Tello changed the game. Not because he played great or anything but an out and out winger created space which opened up the game.

Barca's problem isn't attacking though, it's at the back.

I'm not going to judge our defense by this game due to there being Song, Montoya at LB vs Navas, and Mascherano.

But it was awful.

He did play great, missed a chance and lost a few balls but at least he tried to go past people and his assist wasnt bad either. For a youngster, he played great for me.

Our attack is easly thwarted if messi is marked out of a match, so yes, we also have problems in attack especially if that shat , *cesc*, keeps pushing iniesta to the wing.

Btw it was so fantastic to see a forward step up besides Messi. I hope Tito and co raelize what's at stake if we keep sidelining Villa.

According to Sport we'll offer Villa a contract, but reduced from starter to substitute. I hope they reconsider.

Cesc didn't even make the bench alongside Puyol therefore we can presume he will start against Mehdrid on Wednesday Wish Barta had a run around for Piqué to get a bit of rest.
Watched the first half and it looked like Thiago and Song was interchanging positions. Anyone else see this? Thiago was great.
What happened in the second half? How did the game change? Roura looked clueless tbh on the touch lines and was hoping for a miracle.

I dont know why cesc is being treated like a king at Barca. He hasnt won us anything, he wasnt part of our dream team that won the CL and the leagues. He should be below busquets, thiago, pedro, even pinto, in the packing order.

Reading the posts here got me a Deja Vu. Relax, fellow cules. February has ALWAYS been a tough month for Barca as long as I can remember. It's just fatigue, we will recover shortly as we always do. Don't lose faith in ur team just yet.

With Alves practically acting as a winger, Villa centrally, Tello LW, Messi #10 behind Villa.

Fabregas, Pedro, Valdes, Mascherano, Alexis and Adriano (just because of his ridiculous injuries, he has never played 5 consecutive games in his life) need to be sold. A proper centreback, a goalkeeper and Neymar need to be bought with the money. Thiago needs to get more and more playing time. Xavi and Puyol need to be phazed out slowly until 2014.

How many times to Sevilla escape and counter down their left? Constantly.

You cant ignore the other side of the game.

Good first half defensive, not so good offensively.

Second half, much faster pace, much better in attack..but we sacrificed defensively and it showed.

How is Abidal looking in training? Any news?

Aint heard anything specific.

I imagine he will be on the bench soon though.
