lol this is 7 years old. Only supports 720p Proud

Anyways problem sorted. Told my parents about this issue. They are buying me a TV.

I normally use the same TV for my PC and PS3(soon PS4) so I can't buy a 40 inch plus as it will be too big to work on.

Thinking ideal size is around 20-30inch. Any tips or suggestions?

Use that as a base to work from, I do recommend actually monitors though if you are going to use it a lot for games.

As their is noticeably less input lag than normal tvs.

The bottom one is best for gaming but the Samsung is a better overall package.

Yea I am thinking about the bottom one as well. But the Samsung is a better brand. However it doesn't have speakers so I am not sure.

Same as before really, Asus excells with gaming because of ridiculous response time but Philips one has more features overall.

But I think I prefer the Samsung one to the Philips.

Only difference is that the Benq one has higher brightness saturation while the reviews are more consistent. Also the highest selling one.

If I am buying for gaming then I guess this is better. Movies etc will also be fine I suppose.

In the end, this will be better than my current one in every way lol.

PS4 supports HDMI though. I use a HDMI cable which goes from PS4 to TV.

How do you plan to get sound RG?

I bought a monitor on the cheap but realized that it didn't have any speakers on it. I had to use the AV cable to connect to an external speaker to make it work while the HDMI gave me the video

The monitor I am buying have speakers in it. And I have a headset as well which should work on the PS4 as well
