The defense is bad but it's always been, the teams attack and midfield has been the defense mostly, maybe this will change when Puyold finally retires but even more worrying is the cluelessness and lack of penetration in attack.

The fact that Barca at our best have 3 forwards is actually a large distinction...

And yes Cesc being in the first team ruins just about everything offensively at least. That's not to say there aren't bigger problems, our pressing being one of the most pressing problems (hahaha puns....)

i meant on the flanks

Also regarding the defending. Barcelona's defence has always been their attack if you know what i mean. The amount of times they have scored the 1st goal which resulted in the opposition giving up instantly is extremely high not to mention their constant attacking waves which would limit the other teams to their own penalty area forcing them to defend rather than actually go out and attack also strengthened their defence.

Felt bad for Puyol watching him getting raped by Di Maria like that.

How many more times do we need to prove to Roura that playing an extra midfield will cost us games. Another example. Pedro should have been awarded a penalty and we could have been back into the match but still not playing an inside forward for Fabregas is costing us and badly. Two competitions we are going to be eliminated due to bad management. Tito save us!

Anyone remember when deluded Barca fanboys claimed that Puyol and Pique were better than Varane? LOL!

Now we know why Pep left. I thought the Captain goes down with his ship. Barca must be the Costa Concordia.

Highlights of the game

C.Ronaldo to get a yellow and therefore to miss the final against Athletico (a final in which Athletico will rape Real by 4-1, Falcao hatrick!!)

Pique will get sent off at the 65 min mark.

Fabregas to come off after that sending off, at the sound of 90 000 boooos and 1000s of banana peelings, empty beer cans and used tampons, thrown at him by angry fans!!

Adriano to get injured after coming on as sub, ofc.

hmm

Anyways, cant say I didnt see this one coming.

It will be fun seeing what sort of changes we make next season.

Barca were better under Pep imo. I remember when teams could barely create a chance against Barca and when they did it was some sort of an achievement.

Tito and Roura aren't really thinking outside of the box.

Barcelona played straight into RM's hands, man. Straight in their hands and got tonked!

Although RM were very good, this performance has not made me nervous for next week's CL 2nd leg. We'll be more tactically astute than Barca were.

Roura has no clue. Tito has a brain and would not have used Fab in that game alongside the Milan game...

Tito is giving advice; Roura is on his own. Players are not happy with how things are going. Messi not really being sick but not showing up for training says allot.

Messi isn't showing up for training? Why? Because his team is losing now. If this is true, truly shows how unprofessional he is.

Where exactly did you get this?

As far as I know (or at least what I've read), Messi has a fever and didnt train on Wednesday. Many players miss a training session or 2 due to a fever / or man flu or whatever.
Its not a big deal.

Of course Im sure he could have turned up to training and no harm could have been done, but still, if anyone deserves a day off, its Messi.

Most of these training sessions after big matches are simply recovering sessions, anyway. For example Xavi spent his morning doing physiotherapy.
