Also, we aint playing with Sergi...hes utterly average. We are going 3 at the back on you, especially if you play 2 strikers like you have there. Also no way we play without Guardiola or at least Busquets.

Cannot play without a proper DM. Pep or Busi has to be in there! Koeman and Puyol at the back.

Put Abidal as a LB ? I can't think of any other. Guys like Ronaldo, Romario or Maradona have no place in Barca's all time 11, not even on the bench. They may be better, but not greater.

Abidal is a great option if we want to play 4 at the back yes, he is our best leftback ever.

But ideally, we would go 3 at the back.

with 3 at the back you need 2 wingers IMO. And with Messi and Dinho on the wings it lacks width.

Well this is where I disagree, I dont think you need 2 wingers at all.

The original dream team didnt play with 2 wingers and did quite fine I think you would agree.

Real's left side would be a joy to watch. Roberto Carlos+CR7 Wow. I like the midfield, Redondo-Zidane-Laudrup, pure elegance. If you add Don Alfredo Di Stefano, the total footballer. You take it all.

Barcelona's individual talent, Messi, Cruyff, Maradona, Ronaldo, Rivaldo, Dinho, etc. It would be unbelievable but I dont know how to make them play together.... My Real Madrid looks strong and with good chemistry though

Isn't Guardiola like Xabi-level-esque? That's the way I've heard his skill level described before. If so, then all of Xavi, Iniesta, and Busquets are better.

Yeah thats true. I would personally go with Busquets for this team, because I am picking a team, as in, one that functions.

My team, swap the back 3 with Puyol, Koeman and Dani Alves.

The midfield, Busquets, Xavi, Iniesta and Cruyff.

Up front, Ronaldinho, Messi and Kubala going left to right.

Kubala is so old though, its impossible to say just how good a pick he is. Perhaps Figo as much as I hate him.

Tbf i don't think how long ago comes into it..... if it did then Di Stefano and Puskas can't be in it either as they were around at same time as Kubala.

So i think you picking Kubala is just fine.

Dani, your side is pretty much spot on however I feel like D.Alves may not suit a back three... Need someone with more defensive capabilities IMO

Dani Alves would be better defensively than Koeman in this formation tbh.

Actually Abidal would be better Koeman too here. Koeman is pretty slow, 3 at the back requires speed.

Your right there with Koeman... Abidal I was thinking would be more suited to a back three than Alves on the right... Shift Puyol to the right and we have a winner...

what I find strange in the above discussion is the fact that no conspiracies are mentioned and in the OP Super Flodidn't include any refs in Barca's side.

This thread doesnt change the fact that I still think Tom Henning Ovrebo and Wolfgang Stark are the most decisive men in FC Barcelona's history

Here is my team, I want to implement hoof ball counter attack tactics to defeat Barca's team. I'm also assuming we will play this game in the 70's were refs would not even hand yellows for two footed tackles.

Good luck trying to avoid tough tackles with that back line. Camacho will also mark Cruyff comfortably out of the game.

Redondo, Gallego and Zidane will hold on to the ball quite well and they will mix it up when they have to.

Michel and Juanito will play it long to Santiallna who would physically molest Barca's back line both physically and in the air.

In the second half when Barca are physically battered I'll bring in Don Alfredo and Cristiano to deliver the final blow.
