We let them play at the Bernabeu during last season's playoff but they found it difficult to adjust to the width of the pitch as compared to the Di Stefano. Plus, playing at the Bernabeu brings unwarranted pressure. The kids feel more at home at the Di Stefano.

As far as the no 16 goes, it was Merchan but he wasn't on the right throughout the game. It was 15 number Lucas Vasquez with those beautiful crosses including the one that Joselu hit straight at the keeper.

Wonderful performance by Castilla last night. Mind you, Mirandes were the team that reached the CDR semi finals. Very good result. Vamos Castilla.

Number 16 was subbed in if i am not mistaken and he was deployed as the right winger, the only guy who was subbed in with Mandi was Merchan.... so i dont know lol

whoever it was he is definitely one hell of a gem, cant wait to see what these kids will do in the second division, we made them look like pub players out there, hope we can keep most of the core players together...

However guys like Carvajal, Nacho, Joselu and to some extent Alex are already ready for a top club and not 2nd division club hope we don't sell these players off they deserve their chance in the first team

We have a B team which will play in Segunda next season and a C team which will play in the Segunda B next season(1 additional game left with a win at home against Marbella), so thats 3 Madrid teams in the first, second and third leagues of Spain and we have failed to promoted anyone since back when i was a kid...... i call it disrespectful if you ask me
